Magillem contributes to the general assembly of the AQUAS project

From April 23 to April 25, Magillem contributes to the general assembly of the AQUAS – Aggregated Quality Assurance of Systems – project which is held in Valencia, Spain.

As a partner of the AQUAS Aggregated Quality Assurance of Systems project, Magillem will share its expertise during the general assembly, from April 23 to April 25 in Valencia, Spain, by providing to the project its unique methodology, called ISDD® – Integrated Specification, Design and Documentation, which guarantees the coherence of platform descriptions, documentation/specifications and source code and trace the evolution of systems through new regulations.

Providing solutions capable of meeting the challenges of the ever-increasing complexity of systems to face the convergence between embedded world and open world is the aim of the AQUAS – Aggregated Quality Assurance of Systems – project. Meeting the continuously growing requirements on security and performance, while maintaining safety, requires a coordinated engineering approach.

Facilitate early software development for better architecture exploration is ensured by Magillem Virtual Platform (MVP). This IP-XACT-based Virtual Prototyping tool helps manage complex designs, connections and configurations, and enables to check before simulation. It’s a complete front-end design and verification flow from SystemC down to RTL simulation, including software simulation and debug.
At the same time, to enable shorten iterations all along the design cycle and reduce development efforts, Magillem Content Publisher (MCP) ensures the consistency of all the information shared by all stakeholders, ensuring non-ambiguous information sharing for the AQUAS project which incorporates Safety, Security and Performance aspects. This infrastructure ensures full traceability of relevant co-engineering factors across the entire Product Life Cycle (PLC).
Combining to the ISDD® – Integrated Specification, Design and Documentation, this powerful toolset improves the overall performance of the system designed, reduces the verification and validation efforts when performing iterative modifications, and prepares the ground for certification of the project.
